Woodson County Sheep Auction

Monthly Sale is the first Tuesday of the month, with two sales in December on the first and third Tuesdays.

Buying station (for fat lambs) is open on the same day 8:00 a.m -11:00 a.m.

Animals to be sold may be brought in beginning at 8:00 a.m, and are sold in the order that they are received.

Auction starts at 6:00 p.m.

Sheep:

Light lambs 40-65 lbs: 160 - 225 cwt

Feeder lambs 60-90 lbs:  125 - 150 cwt

Fat lambs:  110 - 125 cwt

Cull ewes:  40 - 65 cwt

Replacement ewes:  $110 - $145

Rams:  45 - 75 cwt 

 

Goats

#1 Kid goats 25-45 lbs:  180 - 260 cwt

#1 Kid goats 40-65 lbs:  170 - 240 lbs

#1 Kid goats 70-90 lbs:  160 - 215 cwt

Feeder kids #1:  240 - 305 cwt

#2/3 Kids:  170 - 260 cwt

Nannies:  80 - 130 cwt

Fat nannies/thin nannies:  55 - 85 cwt

Light billies:  160 - 230 cwt

Heavy billies:  110 - 150 cwt

 

Remember that there are two sales in December:  4th and 18th

The January sale will be held on January 9th, 2019
