Woodson County Sheep Auction

Monthly Sale is the first Tuesday of the month, with two sales in December on the first and third Tuesdays.

Buying station (for fat lambs) is open on the same day 8:00 a.m -11:00 a.m.

Animals to be sold may be brought in beginning at 8:00 a.m, and are sold in the order that they are received.

Auction starts at 6:00 p.m.

Cull ewes:  45 - 65 cwt

Thin ewes:  40 - 55 cwt

 

Goats

Kid goats (#1) 45-65 lbs:  240 - 300 cwt

Few fancy kids:  300 - 345 cwt

Kids (#1) 20-45 lbs:  190 - 250 cwt

Kids (70-95 lbs):  180 - 225 cwt

Thin kid goats (#2 & 3):  145 - 220 cwt

Nannies:  110 - 155 cwt

Thin cull nannies:  75 - 110 cwt

Billies:  110 - 145 cwt
