Woodson County Sheep Auction

Monthly Sale is the first Tuesday of the month

Buying station (for fat lambs) is open on the same day 8:00 a.m -11:00 a.m.

Animals to be sold may be brought in beginning at 8:00 a.m, and are sold in the order that they are received.

Auction starts at 6:00 p.m.

Feeder lambs:  140 - 175 cwt

Thin feeders or short docked:  125 - 155 cwt

Hair lambs:  140 - 165 cwt

Fats:  155 - 175 cwt

Ewes/Rams:  45 - 65 cwt

Thin ewes:  35 - 48 cwt

Goats:

#1 kid goats (40-60 lbs):  190 - 235 cwt

#1 wether kids (60-90 lbs):  180 - 210 cwt

#2/3 kid goats:  160 - 220 cwt

Light kids (20-40 lbs):  140 - 215 cwt

#1 nannies:  110 - 160 cwt

Thin nannies:  90 - 140 cwt

Billies:  120 - 160 cwt
