Woodson County Sheep Auction

Monthly Sale is the first Tuesday of the month.

Buying station (for fat lambs) is open on the same day 8:00 a.m -11:00 a.m.

Animals to be sold may be brought in beginning at 8:00 a.m, and are sold in the order that they are received.

Auction starts at 6:00 p.m.

Woodson County Fairgrounds, 701 S. Fry, Yates Center

Ewes/Rams:  50 - 90 cwt

Pairs (count heads):  $60 - $75

 

Goats:

Kid goats (fat 40-65#):  225 - 275 cwt

Kid goats (fat 70-95#):  170 - 225 cwt

Feeder kids:  210 - 255 cwt

Pygmies/dairy cross:  170 - 210 cwt

Light billies:  170 - 245 cwt

Heavy billies:  140 - 180 cwt

Nannies:  105 - 175 cwt

Extremely thin nannies:  70 - 130 cwt
